• MR. TAYLOR'S BIO



    Mr. Taylor, Dean of Students, received his BS Degree (Economics) in 1989 from Northern Illinois University before earning is Masters Degree in Counseling in 2006. In his previous 25 years, Mr. Taylor has spent most of his career as a Territory Manager in the medical industry, selling medical surgical instruments, and ultra-sound equipment (covering a 3 state territory). He also worked as a Sales Consultant for Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation, selling high blood pressure meds, in Northwest Ohio. Mr. Taylor relocated his family to Columbus in 2012, and immediately began working all over the Columbus City Schools district, as a substitute teacher (specializing as an intervention specialist in training).



  • Mr. Taylor worked for the Education Service Center of Ohio as a substitute teacher, primarily for its suburban schools. He later joined the Southwestern City School District (SWCS) as a long term contract substitute teacher. As he continued his education at Ashland University, he was hired by Lifetouch National School Studios as a Manager in the Gahanna Ohio branch; however, after 1 year with Lifetouch, he decided to remain for the rest of his career in Education Management.

  • Mr. Taylor is currently working on completing his Masters in Education at Ashland University in Columbus. In his free time, Mr. Taylor enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, going to church, watching movies, working out, attending sporting events, and trying out nice restaurants.
